Mass 'Camp Out'

Penlake's 2010 Fun Day was a great mix of events for all members of the Family to enjoy.  Saturday dawned with overcasts skies and the constant threat of rain to dampen the day.  Thankfully the rain held off for all but a minor shower and the events went ahead with great enthusiasm.  The whole weekend helped to raise funds for the club and with a mass 'camp out' by many of the parents of the players and players it was also a terrific social event.  So a great thanks to all those who donated their time, and a big thank you to all who came along and bought a burger and supported the club.

Penlake Under 13's pre-season programme came to an end with a grueling hour and a half fitness session at Sherdley Park on Tuesday evening. Giving the players no time to recover from their booze filled exploits over the bank holiday weekend.
The players turned up in force and completed the tough session and will benefit from it over the coming weeks.

Can all players make an effort to support this, its not only a great opportunity to raise much needed funds for the club, its also a great way of raising the profile of the club.

All of the monies raised will be used for kit and training equipment.

Your manager will keep you up to date for your allotted time.  Parents must stay with their children, please aim to arrive 15 minutes before your allotted time to sign in and hand over from the previous teams.

Penlake would like to congratulate all of the recipients of awards for Season 2009-2010.  We would also like to congratulate all our players and coaches for a great season, and some really great football.
